How much does it cost?
You pay a fixed fee of €245 per month without referral. The following services are included in this €245 fee:
- Permanent employment contract,
- Client invoicing management,
- Expense reimbursement,
- VAT management,
- Payslip issuance,
- Salary payment,
- Payment of all taxes*.
In the case of a referral, you benefit from a monthly discount of €50 if you refer one person, or a monthly discount of €110 if you refer two people. Please note that the savings generated through referrals can be shared with the referred members (see the question “Referral or co-optation?”)!
* Payment of all taxes: CCSS, employee taxes, corporate taxes, Chamber of Commerce tax, municipal tax.
Are there any additional fees?
How long does it take to become operational?
If you have all the required information (your personal details and those of your future client), you can start your assignment in less than one hour.
How does the onboarding process work?
- Contact us to fully understand the process (recommended)
- Fill in your personal information to generate the permanent employment contract
- Sign the permanent employment contract
- Provide your client’s details to generate the commercial contract
- Your client signs the service agreement between them and IT Family
- You are ready to start working
What are my day-to-day responsibilities?
You focus solely on your assignment (the rules to follow are those of your client—for example, if remote work is allowed, you can work from home).
You take photos of your expense invoices and upload them to the dedicated application.
You complete your timesheet on the last day of the month.
And that’s it!
What do we take care of?
We handle everything else (once you’ve sent us the number of days worked during the month):
- We send the invoice to your client.
- We ensure the payment from your client has been received.
- We reimburse your monthly expenses.
- We pay the VAT.
- We pay the Chamber of Commerce taxes.
- We pay municipal taxes.
- We pay taxes.
- We pay employer and employee social contributions.
- We convert your revenue into a salary and transfer it to you.
- We can also help you optimize your tax situation.
- We can help you find a new assignment once your current one ends.
Can I get a discount?
If you have a promo code, yes.
Otherwise, please note that if you refer a friend, you’ll receive a €50 monthly discount for as long as your friend remains an IT Family member. If you refer two friends, the monthly discount increases to €110. You can also choose to share the discount between you!

Referral or co-optation?
We have set up a referral program to help you reduce your fees while sharing the benefits of IT Family with those around you. Two options are available:
“Duo” plan: By referring one person, you benefit from a discount on your subscription. Instead of paying €245 per month, you pay only €195, saving €50. You can choose to keep this discount or share it with the referred person. As long as the total of both subscriptions remains €440 per month, the allocation is fully flexible.
Exclusive benefit: a free “Potes Stormtrooper” T-shirt!
“Tribe” plan: If you refer two people, your subscription drops to €155 per month instead of €245, saving €110. Once again, you can choose to share this discount with the other members of your tribe. As long as the total of the three subscriptions remains €595 per month, the distribution is flexible.

What will my status be? Will I have a permanent contract?
Am I entitled to unemployment benefits if I no longer have an assignment?
Can I work remotely?
Can I get meal vouchers?
Yes, this is possible. They are deducted from your monthly revenue.
Currently, meal vouchers cost €15 × 18 = €270.
Can I have health insurance?
We can offer health insurance as part of your umbrella employment contract. However, it is important to note that, under Luxembourg legislation, this health insurance would be considered a benefit in kind. This means it would generate additional employer contributions for our company, as well as employee contributions and taxes payable by you on the value of this benefit.
Due to these additional costs, providing health insurance through umbrella employment may not be as advantageous as taking out private insurance or relying on coverage through the Luxembourg social security system (CCSS). We recommend evaluating these options to choose the solution best suited to your needs.
